SECURE’s High Prairie Full Service Rail Terminal is located in the heart of Big Lakes County in the south central Peace Region of Alberta. Our physical location is only meters off of Highway 2, giving our current and prospective customers easy access to our facility.
Our High Prairie FSR Terminal was designed to give our customers another means to transport their product to market, and is currently one of the largest pipeline by rail facilities in Northern Alberta. We can accommodate up to 130 rail cars on site, and have the capacity to load approximately 36 cars or 3100 m3 per day. Our facility also has the ability to store an additional 1900 m3 in our PTMAA approved tank farm.
Our rail car loading rack and tanks use a state-of-the-art vapor recovery system to prevent fugitive emissions. When new product enters the tanks or rail cars, blanket gas from the tanks or loading rack is displaced and sent through the vapor recovery system to our incinerator. Customer service is at the core of our operations, and so is our commitment to being responsible corporate neighbours. Our Full Service Rail terminals are designed, built and operated with the environment and public health and safety in mind.
